Low voltage track lighting is a cost efficient, versatile option for home lighting. Track lighting can be directed and focused on particular areas to highlight the focal points, or provide task lighting directed. Track lighting is attractive, and the option of 12V consumes less power. It can be installed with several adjustable accessories in a single track. Installation of light is connected only an accessory.

Turn off the circuit breaker in the place where his low voltage track lighting will be installed. Locate the studs in the location you want to install the switch. Avoid asparagus during installation and make sure the area is clear for installing cables that run. Mark the area where you want the track installed. Use a stud finder to locate the ceiling joists. Connect the track to one beam or cover so each pin is placed in different beams if it’s a long track. Make a template for holes by holding the track to the ceiling and marking through the holes. Drill pilot holes for the screws and secure the track to the beam with wood screws.

Low voltage track lighting, place the wall mount electrical box in the wall where the switch and draw around it to a template. Drill a pilot hole in the center and check that there are no obstructions. Once you determine the area is clear, use a drywall saw to cut the edge of the box.
